Firtly, all web pages on this site are compiled by the Nijhuis Group with great care. Nevertheless, inaccuracies can occur. The Nijhuis Group cannot accept any liability for any direct or indirect damages resulting from factual inaccuracies in the information offered or otherwise resulting from the use or the impossibility of use of the information offered.

This expressly includes inaccuracies in information originating from third party suppliers and published on this site. Furthermore, the Nijhuis Group can in no way be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from technical failure, as a result of which the pages are not or not fully available at any time or for a given period.

We only ask for your personal data if you fill in a contact form. These data are sent to us by e-mail and used exclusively to establish contact. We do not sell the collected (personal) data or make them available to third parties. This barring special circumstances, for example if required by law.

3a Nijhuis Group uses cookies to optimise the functionality of certain pages of the website. Cookies are small text files placed on the visitor’s computer by a website page. In such a cookie, information is stored such as certain preferences of the visitor. This enables Nijhuis Group to provide the visitor with even better service during a subsequent visit.

PRIVACY STATEMENT NIJHUIS GROUP

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA FROM CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS AND OTHER CONTRACTORS 

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide us with as this is necessary to conclude and execute any agreement with you. This applies to our (potential) customers as well as to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.  

If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we use your data to be able to send you an offer, to determine the specifications or requirements for a certain item or service, to be able to deliver items or perform work for you, to be able to invoice and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement. 

If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of purchasing, this is necessary in order to let you know what specifications or wishes we have for a certain item or service, to be able to send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned work.  

PASSING ON TO THIRD PARTIES

In connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we have to provide your personal data to parties who supply us with parts, materials and products or who perform work on our behalf. We also make use of external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration, of which your personal data forms a part. For this reason we provide your personal data to our server provider. Furthermore, we use Microsoft Office and the corresponding storage facilities for e-mails and other files. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is passed on to the provider of this service.     

DIRECT MARKETING

If you have given us your consent, we will store and use the personal data you have provided in order to personally inform you in future by e-mail about our existing and new products and services and possibly to make you an offer for them. Each time we send you an advertising mailing, you have the opportunity to let us know that you no longer wish to receive it. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.   .

PERIOD OF RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

If you have requested a quotation from us but have not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. Likewise, if we have received a quotation from you, but you have not become a customer of ours, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you have become a customer or we have become one, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period within which we are obliged to keep our records for the Tax Authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to ask us to examine your own personal data with respect to this Disclaimer and Privacy statement. If there is reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to change any inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to ask us to delete your personal data. Or to restrict the use of your personal data. You can also lodge an objection with us against the collection and use of your personal data. Or lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Finally, you can request us to obtain your personal data or to transfer them to another party.
